A true Cantabrian, Ros was born and raised in Christchurch. After studying Psychology and Sociology at the University of Canterbury, she developed a strong interest in health and community wellbeing.

This passion led her into public health, where she worked as a Pharmacy Technician, supporting patient care and promoting healthier outcomes.

Committed to community-focused service, Ros also spent several years with St John as an Ambulance Dispatch Operator, playing a vital role in coordinating emergency response services.

With her background in health, communication, and frontline support, Ros brings a deep understanding of the importance of safe, clean living environments and is dedicated to helping families improve their indoor air quality.

  • The AirCare Story

    Having witnessed Max’s growth and development in the refrigeration industry, Ros saw firsthand the potential to offer something better to homeowners. After many (beer-filled) conversations, the two recognised a clear gap in the market — high-quality service at affordable rates. Simply put: better cleans for less cost.

    Determined to make it happen, they began exploring ways to enter the industry and initially adopted a “business in a box” model. Over three years, they gained valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of what truly works — and what doesn’t.

    That journey ultimately led them to create something of their own.

    Today, that vision has evolved into AirCare — an independent heat pump cleaning service built on quality, transparency, and genuine care for customers.

    In 2024, Ros took the leap, backing the venture fully and partnering with Max to bring AirCare to life. With the freedom that comes from being independent, they are excited to deliver greater flexibility, innovation, and a truly local, customer-focused service to the Christchurch community.

Meet Maxwell Eddison

Lead Technician & Co-Owner, AirCare Heat Pump Cleaning

Maxwell Eddison brings over five years of hands-on industry experience to AirCare. He began his journey working alongside technicians in large refrigeration companies, quickly developing his skills and progressing into installing, servicing, and maintaining heat pump systems across Christchurch.

Through this experience, Max built a strong foundation in delivering high-quality workmanship, diagnosing issues efficiently, and ensuring systems operate at their best.

Before entering the refrigeration industry, Max gained valuable people skills working in hospitality — from pizza shops through to roles as a Duty Manager at some of Christchurch’s busiest bars. This background helped shape his customer-first approach, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Today, Max combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping customers improve the air quality, performance, and lifespan of their heat pump systems. As Co-Owner of AirCare, he is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service with a personal touch.

  • Before founding AirCare, Max recognised a clear gap in the market. While many companies focused on large commercial contracts and routine maintenance for businesses, domestic homes and rental properties were often overlooked.

    Seeing an opportunity to do better, Max set out to create a service that combines exceptional quality with genuine value. With his industry knowledge and hands-on experience, he was confident he could deliver a level of care and detail that truly stands above the rest.

    Max is known for his exceptional customer service, strong work ethic, and commitment to going the extra mile. His attention to detail and perfectionist approach ensure that every job is completed to the highest standard.

    He firmly believes that AirCare offers one of the finest heat pump cleaning services in Canterbury, and takes pride in showing customers what it really means to “Take Care of Your Air.”

    Beyond the Tools

    Outside of work, Max has a passion for travel and enjoys unwinding with online gaming or a friendly game of football.
